Lifetime Limited Warranty

Solid Surface Products

 

ASKA, LLC (the “Company) warrants solid surface countertop products for residential use that the Company will at its option, repair or replace without charge, such products if it fails due to manufacturing defect at any time after the time of initial installation, provided that: such materials are sold and installed by the Company, are paid in full, and have been maintained according to manufacturer’s care and maintenance guidelines.

 

This warranty does not cover damage caused by:

     1. Failure to follow Company and manufacturer recommended  procedures for use, care and maintenance

     2. Physical abuse or breakage not due to a defect in the manufacturing or installation of the material

     3. Failure of any adhesive, caulk or other finishing or maintenance accessories

 

Manufacturing Defect:

The Company warrants that the products are free from manufacturing defects; however, this does not apply to color variances, minor natural inclusions, thermal shock, chemical abuse, or product failures caused by misuse. The Company reserves the right in its sole discretion to determine whether there has been any misuse.

     Color variances: Minor color variances are normal. The color of your countertop may vary slightly in shade and/or composition depending                 upon brand, color, lighting, and surrounding colors.

     Thermal shock: Use of “crock-pots”, electric skillets, deep fryers, or any other kitchen appliance that generate heat may damage your solid surface countertop. Cracks or failures caused by heat generated from appliances are not covered by this warranty. Always use a heat trivet when placing hot items or heat generating appliances on your countertop.

 

This warranty does not replace or void a manufacturer warranty and will take effect in the event that the manufacturer’s warranty expires. For coverage under this warranty your installer must sign and date this document and you must have paid for your countertop in full. To obtain service under this warranty, send correspondence including a copy of this document, explanation of the issue, and pictures (if possible) to:

The Company’s obligation hereunder is limited solely to the repair or replacement, including necessary labor charges on the solid surface products purchased hereunder. No implied or express warranty, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose is granted by this warranty except as expressly stated herein. Except as provided herein, the Company shall not be liable in either tort or contract for any loss or direct, consequential, or incidental damages arising out of the use or inability to use solid surface products hereunder.  This warranty gives the purchaser specific rights: other rights may also be available which may vary from state to state.

THIS WARRANTY APPLIES TO THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER OF THE PRODUCT
