We work with various stones, including quartz, granite, marble, quartzite, and more.

For us to get you an accurate quote, a rough sketch of the space with dimensions can be brought in or emailed to us. Our quotes can only be as accurate as your measurements, so some pricing increases or decreases can occur after we come out and template the space.

If you do not want to provide us with dimensions, we can send a skilled templater out to do a site measure and base our quote off of that, if requested. Unless we are specificially requested not to, we will do a site measure for every job once a color is selected and the quote is accepted. Pricing may change based on our site measurements.

Yes, you can visit our showroom at 5012 Rentworth Court to see our extensive selection of samples. In addition to our smaller sample racks, we also have a handful of full display slabs, and a curated selection of large format samples for viewing.

Yes, we keep stock of any remnants that come off of bigger projects we have done that we sell at a discounted price for those smaller projects. To see what remnants we may have in stock, please visit our showroom or view our live inventory at the link in our header.

Before we begin fabrication, we need to have a final color selected, any sinks and faucets picked out, a cooktop picked out, and anything else that will need a hole cut out in the countertop for it to sit in, AKA any countertop penetrations. All applicable information needs to be provided to us before we can start fabrication. If you are a residential customer with us, we also require payment in full at the time of approval, via cash or check. If you need other arrangements, please reach out and we can make an accommodation.

The fabrication process typically takes about 2-3 weeks after final approval, depending on the size and complexity of the project requirements. In certain situations, we can offer a much quicker turn around time, but let us know if you have a specific time restraint and we will do out best to accomodate it.

Yes, Counter Culture provides professional installation services to ensure your countertops are perfectly fitted and finished.

Quartz countertops are generally stain-resistant, but it's important to clean up spills quickly to prevent any long-term discoloration. Natural stones, such as granite, marble, and quartzite, on the other hand, can stain a lot easier, especially if not routinely sealed.

Quartz is highly resistant to scratches, making it an excellent choice for busy areas, though protecting your tops from sharp objects is recommended. Chips and scratches can still happen in rare scenarios. However, our skilled team of fabricators can take care of your countertops, shall a scratch or chip happen. Similar to seams, repairs and blemished can always be seen in the right light, but we do our best to make them unremarkable and unnoticeable.

Quartz surfaces are heat resistant but not entirely heatproof. It's advisable to use trivets or pads for hot cookware to prevent damage.

Unlike natural stones such as granite, marble, and quartzite that need to regularly be sealed, quartz countertops are non-porous and do not require sealing, making them a low-maintenance option for your home.
